Breadpig Sighted – In German! Go Brotschwein, go.

anthony volodkin totally pulls a volodkin on this oneAvid breadpig supporter and fantastic founder of hypemachine, Anthony Volodkin, rocked the brown breadpig tee to a photoshoot in a German an Austrian magazine. The headline instructs you to “Go, whither the music takes you.” The obvious subtext here is that you should be downloading the breadpig band’s hit album from iTunes. The breadpig still has no clue how it managed that one, even being a super hero.

If you aren’t already using TheHypeMachine, you’re probably not very hip to music. If you are a laggard when it comes to the dopest jams, look no further than Anthony’s creation. And please let us know if you discover any other breadpig sightings – we’ll high5 you for each one.

Anthony Volodkin, you win the Internet today and we award you 31,400 points.

Starbuck’s Birthday Brings Breadpig Love

To celebrate Katee Sackoff’s 29th birthday yesterday, TCritic did a BSG shirt rundown. Props to Bo for the shoutout in the comments.

Got nothing to give that special skinjob in your life? I think you know what to do.

We’re not doing a reprint of these shirts – ever – so help EFF and treat yourself to a limited edition tee.

I’m The 5th Cylon Shirt Gets Some Skinjob Lovin’ From PopCultureTees

popculturetees.com likes breadpigThis has been a great week for breadpig tees. Philip K. Dick inspired our most popular shirt and the anniversary of his death brought it a bunch of attention. And now our I’m the 5th Cylon shirt is featured on PopCultureTees with a review full of gusto:

Probably the strangest named shop we’ve featured on the site, these are the same guys who are behind reddit, and are dedicated to offering geeky stuff to folks who like that kind of thing.

Pick up this tee just in time for the series end [...] Also, all profits from this design go to the EFF. Cool.

The breadpig will disregard that nonsense about it being a “strange name” and go on to thank them for drawing some more attention to our Spoiler Alert: I’m the 5th Cylon shirts, which already raised $500 for EFF last year.

Dreaming Of Androids Shirt Also Considered “Cool Thing Under $29.99″

They kindly heaped on the praise — enough to make even the stalwart breadpig blush:

Have you ever wondered what sheep dream about? Jumping fences? I doubt it.

But now, the question is finally answered by the Dreaming of Androids t-shirt. Makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? Well, as long as we’re talking about electric sheep, at least (look at that little power cord, aww).

Best suited for Philip K. Dick fans, of course, but the design is so good it would be a shame to not recommend it to everyone, really.

Why thank you, s2999.com, if only we’d had more in stock to keep up with the demand. Thanks to breadpig’s allies, we’ve turned this shirt from our best-seller into the far and away best-seller.

Someone’s Dreaming Of Dreaming Of Androids

Dreaming of Androids is breadpig’s most popular shirt to date, but until recently, I’d never come across a blog shoutout for it. That all changed thanks to ordinary-life.net, who added it to the list of his shirts he’ll buy when he’s got enough cash.

Oddly enough, this shirt started with just a sleeping sheep. After learning my original idea for the shirt sucked, the “dreaming of androids” popped in my head, which worked well once the sheep had a plug in its bum. There’s no such thing as too much Blade Runner or Philip K. Dick.

We’re overdue for a restocking of shirts; the breadpig apologizes to those of you who’ve been thwarted by a “sold out” button. Remember, you can backorder sold out shirts in the store, but the breadpig is only running operations on a part-time basis, as it has an important day job (saving the world). We trust you understand.

Attention All Cylons: Breadpig Has A New Ally Against You – The Electronic Frontier Foundation

As is the case with all breadpig projects, all the profits go to a worthy charity. Ideally, the breadpig can find a non-profit with objectives related to the project (e.g., LOLmagnetz profits going to the SF SPCA).

About a month ago, we launched a new shirt: Spoiler Alert.

If you don’t watch Battlestar Galactica, its coolness will be lost on you, but if you like preserving your online freedom, stick around for another sentence. Then go buy the DVD box sets and catch up.

The breadpig is partnering with the EFF and thus giving them all the profits of this limited edition shirt. We figured the EFF is presently our first line of defense against the cylon menace.

Fact: Breadpig Loves Democracy And Is Armed To Defend It

Imagine waiting in line on November 4th, standing behind someone with a shirt reading “When the world needed a hero, it got a pig with bread wings.” After asking for his/her autograph, you’d probably feel a delightful tingling sensation course through your body. That’s the breadpig effect.

BTW, wore my breadpig shirt to vote today.

It’s how I felt just reading that one breadpig loyalist proudly displayed his breaded swine pride.

There were zero reports of voters turned away because of breadpig schwag — coincidence?

We had another recent breadpig sighting over at ThinkGeek, proud sellers of LOLmagnetz. They apparently also sell a mean NERF gun. See if you can spot the breadpig!
